The Massbmx show is taking off- I've been talking to Charles Gibson trying to work out a broadcast deal but ABC wants more "vitamin poop" segments because they think Beezy's narrating skills might get him recognized as America's Next Top Savage. Filmed a couple good clips with Rory and Yums tonight, which will be airing all week. If you're a fan of 88.9 FM, you can check them out here and download the little plugin for Itunes that allows you to stream their broadcast. DOPE

I made the t-shirt screen the other day but wasn't really happy with its size, so Serena hooked it up at her school and burned me another one that takes up the whole front of medium sized t-shirts. Dope! I got paid some money to do a survey (involving simply smoking a hookah for 40 minutes) at Harvard the other day, so I'm going to print the shirts this week and have them at Timeless by Saturday. In other news, I rode an exercise bike in physical training today-feels great. Monday I'll know the exact time left before I can ride.

Summer 2005 was your typical summer until Joel organized a trip to NYC. Even though Adam didn't have a working shower, the rooftop overlooking a crowded main street provided hours of fun for the whole crew, compensating for the potent smell of sweat reeking from our clothes. Looking at this picture reminded me of one night in particular, when some lady tried to pick up a poop covered dollar on the pavement. What people will do for money these days... The proceeds go to a new Rutland skatepark, and that skatepark ruled, so you should make it out there. Those 3 shirts are one of the reasons I love the BMX industry. Their designers have nothing to do with BMX at all, and I highly doubt you'll ever see a rider wearing one (well, maybe Mirra). Why do you care? Take a guess at how much they cost. The one on the left is around $200, and the rest follow suit, give or take a couple dollars. They look like any other graphic tee you would see in Urban Outfitters, but they cost hundreds of dollars because they're some designer's brand. Let's look at a BMX company, Fremont, for example. People might hate on Fremont for looking like Altamont (which I can't see personally), but you can't deny Fremont has some dope designs. Compare the $20 or $25 you're putting back into the BMX industry with the $200 shirt made by some suit, and you've got the idea. What's my point? I'm real proud to be a part of an industry that doesn't charge its consumers hundreds of dollars for a t-shirt.

I feel like this needs to be known, and since I never get to see any of you (because I can't ride), I'm going to say it here. I'm sick of the shit talking between the younger guys and I'm 100% sure everyone agrees with me. Sitting in Timeless the other day with you guys talking shit about everything under the sun made catching up with Jody and Christine uncomfortable. I'm sure if a customer walked in, they'd be mortified at the things coming out of your mouths. I don't blame Christine and Jody one bit for almost kicking you guys out, and I hope they do the next time. Why do you guys think shit talking is cool? It does nothing positive for BMX, and since I KNOW you guys are obsessed with coming up and getting sponsored, you should know it does nothing positive for your reputation either. Stop hassling people to film you and take photos, who cares how many pictures or video clips you have? I'm sure as hell not going to put pictures/videos of you guys on here if you keep thinking you have the right to talk shit on everything under the sun. Countless people have told me they don't want to ride with you guys because you just bitch and moan about everything. Honestly, riding with Yums, Rodizzle and Chester makes the session 100 times better just because we laugh and joke around most of the time. Half the time we don't have a camera there and we'd rather it that way. Hopefully some of you guys can grow up soon, we all think you guys have some serious talent and could do awesome things for BMX, but being good people comes first.

So last night, Adam and I went to some stoner hippie party complete with grimey dudes, LSD, weed brownies and girls who looked like grimey dudes. A couple girls benefitted from the hippie style though, so it wasn't that bad. They had a bunch of people jamming as a live band too. In BMX news, I got nothing. Jody and Christine are back from Peurto Rico, I'm going to hang out at the shop for a little while.
